Award of Excellence at OPA Western Regional

I had a wonderful weekend in St. George, Utah at the Oil Painters of America Western Regional Exhibition. The show was divided between three beautiful galleries in the historic district of St. George: Mission, Authentique and Illume, all owned and managed by Jane Bell Meyer. I love these events since I can reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and generally recharge by being surrounded for three days by like-minded art nerds. The weekend was topped off for me when the judge, William Schneider, chose my painting "Co-op at Studio Recchion" to win one of the nine Award of Excellence designations. Many thanks to him and everyone who worked to make this show such a great success.
